The first calendar of the North American Indians was that of a turtle’s shell. Our ancestors watched the passing of the cycles and seasons, using Grandmother Moon as a guide, noting that 13 moons past before the same season returned. Grandmother Moon disappeared and returned, showing her face full thirteen times during the year.

Our Earth Mother showed this to them through her most fertile creature, but turtle. Turtle’s shell bore th13 moons of the year inside a frame that formed the circle we call the Sacred Hoop or Medicine Wheel.

The unifying circle represents the Sacred Relationships of all life to all life. The Sacred Hoop also represents the path across the sky or orbit that was our Earth Mothers yearly journey around Grandfather Sun. The orbit of Grandmother Moon’s journey around our Earth Mother is another circle, giving the Ancestors and understanding of the importance of all concentric circles bringing life into unity or harmony.

The 13 moon cycles gave birth to the legend of the 13 Original Clan Mothers who represent the gifts and abilities humankind can develop during their Earthwalk or physical life. These lessons of developing human potential contain the skills that every human must learn in order to live in harmony with all life forms. When we learn what our potentials are and develop the skills of right relationships, we can offer to share those gifts with the whole of the Human Tribe.

Generosity is the key to working for the benefit of all living things.  If we give of ourselves and of our gifts, the blessings we have received our shared. We can then expand the boundaries and capabilities of all human potential.

Information on the Clan Mothers for this text has been excerpted from the book Earth Medicine by Jamie Sams. It is a great resource for all lightworkers and spiritual seekers and I highly recommend you read it.

There are No special requirements to receive an Empowerment and you do not need anyone to do it for you, unless you want the extra help and energy. I offer my services to each of you should you require them in bridging the gap for you, I will be doing the meditation for each of the Clan Mother’s on the New Moon of each month. I will spend approximately 1-1 ½ hours in meditation for this process while drumming and/or using other tools to aid in the process.

I offer these Goddess/Clan Mother Empowerments and Workshop Information on a gifting basis, just as they were given to me and donations are greatly appreciated. Please keep in mind that a lot of work will go into this workshop for both of us and base your gifting on the work involved.

The Empowerments offered here will be done on the New Moon of each month since that is the time that the New Clan Mother’s lessons/wisdom are effective. These empowerments WILL NOT be repeated until the following Year, you may however use this information on your own to access the Clan Mother’s, as their wisdom is always available to us no matter what time of year it is.
