Gendai-Ki Reiki

Gendai-Ki Reiki presents the teachings of Hiroshi Doi of Japan, and brings the spiritual teachings of Reiki to the Reiki Practice.

Hiroshi Doi brought these teachings to the West for the first time at a Workshop held in Vancouver, BC in 1999 and has since published a book on Gendai entitled: "Iyashino Gendai Reiki-ho": Modern Reiki Method for Healing

Gendai-Ki Reiki contains the teachings of Usui-Sensei that were not available to those outside of Japan.

Hayashi and Takata taught a few techniques in their teachings, but the majority of these teachings were not available until Hiroshi Doi decided that Reiki Practitioners had a right to these teachings, and brought them to the West.

This system is based mainly on the methods used in the original Reiki society in Japan.

Since distant attunements are not taught as a normal part of Gendai Reiki Ho, in order to differentiate this slight change Rick called the distant Gendai Reiki Ho classes by the name of Gendai-Ki Reiki.. While the material, attunements and exercises are the same as Gendai Reiki Ho, the student will be certified as a Gendai-Ki Reiki Shihan.

A Gendai-Ki Shihan will be allowed to teach this material in a live or distant process, but only as Gendai-Ki Reiki until such time that a Master attunement for Gendai Reiki Ho is received in person.

Requirement: you must be a Reiki 3 or Reiki Master to take this class. If you are new to my Reiki classes please provide me with information about your previous Reiki training.

The cost of the Gendai-Ki course includes manuals sent through e-mail for each level, in pdf format, all attunements and a printed certificate suitable for framing.
