Reiki is a method of utilizing energy of higher dimensions for healing. 'Rei' is the spiritual essence of the human being and the energy which exists in everything in creation - Ki is the Life Force, the breath of the Divine, also known as Chi, Prana, Mana, Bioplasmic energy, Light and the Holy Ghost. When the two merge together - 'Reiki' - the spirit becomes one with the universal consciousness.
Ryoho means method. Usui Reiki Ryoho - or Reiho as it is sometimes called - is the method of Reiki which was taught by Doctor Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki in Japan. He taught that Reiki Ryoho is a spiritual and energy healing technique. He said that spiritual healing brings fundamental healing by our becoming part of the universal consciousness, whilst energy healing centers around removing symptoms of mind and body disorders.
Usui Reiki Ryoho courses are for those Reiki practitioners who have reached level 2 or higher.
The difference between the Usui Reiki Ryoho courses and regular Western Reiki courses is that the initiation process, course information and techniques taught stem directly from Japan rather than via the West. The teachings also have a different focus than Western forms of the system of Reiki. The focus is on personal development and spirituality. All students are expected to continue practicing after the courses finish.
The information presented in this workshop has been supplied by Japanese Reiki Master Hiroshi Doi and his students. With his permission we are offering this to those students of Western Reiki who would like to know the original teachings of the Gakkai (the original society which was founded by Sensei Usui). This information is still being taught in Japan today.
It should be understood
that each course is an introduction to that level but it is the personal
practice that leads one to complete that level. For this reason a high level of
ongoing support is offered to all students.
My Focus is to connect all practitioners with
Reiki's true spiritual depth. Over the years, here in the West, Reiki has become
watered down and many of its traditional teachings have been forgotten.
Usui Reiki Ryoho courses are often taught in combination with Gendai Reiki Ho over two weekends.
Due to the wishes of Doi sensei this course is NOT available for home study.
